• Jesse Irvin Overholtzer founded CEF OF EASTERN PA in 1938.

​

• CEF OF READING AND BERKS COUNTY was incorporated in 1955.

​

• In 1988 the State Board of CEF OF EASTERN PA, INC. voted unanimously to disaffiliate with CEF Inc. and become an independent CEF ministry.
